About the department
The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is part of the Universidade Federal do Ceará‘s School of Engineering. The Department was officially created by the CONSUNI Resolution 04 of July 26, 2005, to dedicate itself to teaching, research, and outreach activities related to Engineering and Materials Science in general and Metallurgy in particular. The Department offers the Undergraduate Course in Metallurgical Engineering and the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science Engineering.
